Bolton Hills At Whittier
Welcome

Our community organization seeks to improve the living and working conditions of residents in the historic Bolton Hills at Whittier neighborhood in northwest Atlanta, Georgia.  While formally in the Bolton Hills and Chattahoochee neighborhoods adjacent to Whittier Mill, our adopted community name reflects the historical lineage to Whittier Mill Village, one of Atlanta's oldest and best preserved mill communities.  Many homes in our community are historically and architecturally linked to latter Whittier Mill development in the early 1900s (circa 1928).

Bolton Hills is also neighbor to the Riverside community, a community similar to Bolton Hills which is witnessing revitalization and new energy.

Commutes to many of the city's work, shop, and play destinations are convenient and manageable.  Located in Atlanta's upper west side near I-75, I-285 and I-20, residents of Bolton Hills have convenient access to downtown Atlanta, Vinings, Smyrna, the Galleria and Charlie Brown and Hartsfield-Jackson airports in well-under under 30 minutes.

Please do your part to keep our neighborhoods safe, affordable, and visually appealing.  Invest in our neighborhood by volunteering or donating time or energy--plant a tree, help fix up the local church, pick up street trash, and buy locally.

Communicate regularly with public officials to offer your input and suggestions to focus city government on local issues, and attend monthly Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) meetings.  Also, immediately report crime or poor conditions in your area.  Resource contact information is listed on the 'Community Resources' link.
